Mr. Lacy Locklear, 90, of Lumberton, NC departed his earthly home on Thursday, March 27, 2025. Lacy was born in Robeson County to the late Lester and Effie Ann Locklear on February 13, 1935.
Lacy enjoyed feeding his birds, taking care of his fish and was known to be the ideal handyman. Lacy was known to everyone as "Nick T". He enjoyed life, especially anytime he could find to minister to others. He will be greatly missed.
Lacy is preceded in death by his father, Lester Locklear, mother, Effie Ann Locklear, his wife, Joyce Lowery Locklear, a son, Lacy Locklear, Jr., four brothers, Stacy Locklear, Tracy Locklear, Alton Locklear, Less Locklear, five sisters, Grace Locklear, Daisy Locklear, Addie Locklear, Eula Mae Brooks and Vashtie Lowery.
Lacy is survived by three daughters, Lee Vonda Locklear of Lumberton, Wanda Locklear Britt of Virginia, Tasha Renee Locklear of California, one son, Lance Locklear of Lumberton, one sister, Hattie Sanderson of Lumberton, one brother, Raebeard Locklear of Charlotte, four grandchildren, Elliott Hunt, Emmanuel Hunt, Chealsie Pevia, Serenity Locklear, ten great grandchildren, Makenzie, Xander, Rylan, Jordon, Josiah, Little Emmanuel, Alena, Selena, Jeremiah, and Isaac. A special thanks is given to Amber Locklear for her love and support.
