Ladislav "Kicu" Danco

Ladislav "Kicu" Danco, age 65, of North Arlington, NJ, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025.

He was born in Velké Kapušany, Slovakia, and grew up there before moving to the United States in 1993. Ladislav proudly served in the Slovakian Army for two years.

He was a passionate fan of the New York Knicks, New York Rangers, New York Yankees, New York Red Bulls, and New Jersey Devils. He loved gardening, spending time with family, and sharing stories from his homeland. He took joy in life's simple pleasures - especially a good Czech beer and a shot of vodka shared with friends.

Ladislav will be remembered for his devotion to his family, strong work ethic, love for his grandchildren, and his kind and generous heart.

He is survived by his loving wife, Alžbeta Danco; his devoted daughter, Elizabeth Danco Mullen, and her husband, James Mullen Jr.; and his beloved grandchildren, TJ and Olivia Mullen.

He is also survived by his sister-in-law's, Margita Danco and Klara Danco; his niece and nephews - Anita Danco Gebhardt, Júlus Danco, Dominik Danco, and Štefan Danco - and his cousin, Július Vernársky.

He was predeceased by his parents, Július and Terézia Danco (née Vidnyanská), and his brothers, Július Danco and Štefan Danco.

His strength, warmth, and love for family will be remembered always - both here and in his beloved Slovakia.
