First Lady Alice Chapman Marshall, age 73, departed this earthly life on Thursday, Oct 2, 2025. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Alice Marshall was born September 24, 1952, in High Point, North Carolina to the late Mattie Chapman and Lonnie Goins.
Alice was united in marriage on July 4, 1978, to the late Pastor Thomas E. Marshall for 46 years. She worked for Snyder Paper Corporation where she retired. She served as First Lady of Friendship Holiness Church for 11 years.
Lady Marshall was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Nellie Cobb (Floyd), Bessie Chapman, Peggy Chapman and Barbara Chapman; three brothers, Jesse Chapman, Lonnie Butler, and Robert Lisenby.
Lady Marshall leaves to cherish her memories to her children, Tony Chapman of Raliegh, NC, Timothy Chapman, Shontella Marshall and Alicia Marshall; three sisters, Iris Cullins of High Point, NC, Melloney Brunson of Florida and Mabel McRae of Westend NC; three brothers, Pastor Larry Lisenby (Patricia) of High Point, NC, Samuel Chapman (Betty) of Greensboro NC and Redell Goins of Westend NC; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three special friends; Carol Young, Rev. Royce Stone and Wayne " Pap" Little; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
