LaKinya Moore Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Nelson's Memorial Mortuary from Jun. 4 to Jun. 9, 2025.
Lakinya Shree Moore was born on November 18, 1974, in Warner Robins, Georgia to the late Willene Moore Ross. She was educated in the Houston County school system in Warner Robins, GA where she made an impact in everyone's life who she encountered. "Kina," as she was affectionately called, was a pillar not only in the community with friends but her family. She was a dedicated worker at Warner Robins Rehab for four years where she made lasting friendships. She also worked at First Quality until her health would no longer allow her to. Kina was not only a dedicated daughter, granddaughter, niece, cousin, but she was a sister who loved her siblings, and an auntie who adored her nieces and nephews, especially her great-nieces and great-nephews. Kina was the epitome of love and the love she had for her family and friends was unmatched.
Kina's light was so bright that no matter where she went, she was always the center of attention. Kina loved life and most definitely lived her life to the fullest. Two of her favorite sayings were, "We're rocking to the wheels fall off," and "We all we got."
Lakinya leaves to cherish her memories: Jimmy Lee Head, her sister, Tomeika Head. Aunts: Mary Weldon, Willodene Brown, Mary Jo Moore, and Lora (Bobby) Cumby. Uncles: Willie Frank Moore Jr., and Terry Moore Sr. Her Sister-in-law: Fantaba Head, Nieces: Kadoshotora Johnson, Nekethia Head, Brianna Bower, and Zaysha Stubbs. Nephews: Kandarius Head, Quindarius Johnson, Marcale Head, Tamarco Head Jr., and Demario Head. Great-nieces: Miracle Johnson, Zoey Jacobs, Zamaria Stubbs, Yarah Johnson, and Soleil Johnson. Great-nephews: Darius Grayer and Kimari Cortez. Devoted friends Latshacha Brown, Patricia King-Luster and Shakika Sneed. Lakinya is also cherished by a host of relatives and friends who will continue to honor her life and legacy.
Along with her mother, Willene Moore Ross, LaKinya was preceded in death by her brothers, Lenard Moore, Melando Moore, and Tamarco Head Sr. Her Grandmother: Wylene Moore and Her Grandfather: Willie Frank Moore Sr. Her Aunts: Ella Mae Moore, Elizabeth Everett, Mary Solomon, and Michelle Moore. Her Uncle: Mickey Moore. Cousins: Craig Moore, Tyrez Moore, and Shytiyan Moore.
