Lana "Linda" Johnson

Lana "Linda" Johnson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on 12/12/2024 surrounded by her devoted family.
Born on March 8, 1950 to Gerald Peck. Linda was the heart and soul of her family; always embodying strength, warmth and love. She is survived by her cherished husband of 47 years Charlie "Gene" Johnson, with whom she built a lifetime of memories as life partners.
Linda's legacy lives on through her two daughters Alicia Johnson Norwalk, CT and Pamela Johnson of Norwalk, CT and her two grandchildren Zahir Spicer and Kamau Spicer; Sisters Valerie Nichols, J. Naeemah Peck, Donna Peck; Brother(s) Ronald Peck. Predeceased by her brother Gerald Peck Jr. Linda leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and lady bug (dog) Winter Storm who she held dearly in her heart.
Professionally, Linda worked in the clerical field at Danbury Mint (MBI) for 38 years. However, her most treasured role was that of a mother and grandmother. She found immense joy in raising her children and grandchildren.
Linda was a woman of many passions, cooking, gardening, reading, answering almost every question on the Jeopardy every night as well as cheering on her favorite football team The Colts.
Her life was a testament to the beauty of family and profound of loving hearts thanks to Walter and Mabel Moorman, uncle Bobby and aunt Jo.
Friends may visit from 12:00 to 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 21, at Collins Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 2:00 pm.
