Lance Aldridge Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home - Lewisville on Jan. 6, 2026.
Lance Braxton Aldridge, age 51, of Lewisville, passed away surrounded by his family on Sunday, January 4, 2026, due to end stage liver and kidney failure. Lance was born on October 19, 1974, in Mckinney, Texas to his parents Curtis & Sheron Aldridge. Lance and his sisters grew up surrounded with lots of love and tons of family members. Lance grew up in Lewisville, Texas. He graduated from Lewisville High School in 1994. He was a proud member of the Lewisville Fighting Farmers Football Team. He and his teammates are members of the LHS Hall of Fame as UIL State Champions 1993. When growing up, Lance was active in several sports from football to basketball to track. But his passion was football. He started playing football at 5 years old. He continued to play football until he was injured in his senior year. Lance worked most of his career at Frito Lay and Ben E. Keith. Lance was a "people-person" and enjoyed making friends with people from all walks of life. If you were Lance's friend, you had a friend for life. Lance had unwavering determination and work ethic, a love of people, and unconditional love for his family & friends. Some of Lance's best times in life were spent with his family and friends laughing, cutting up, telling stories, and having fun. He was genuinely committed to those he loved and trusted. He always reached out to his family and friends with phone calls just to be in contact and see what was happening in their lives. Lance was a "connector with charisma;" he had friends from all stages of life. He could make anyone smile and never met a stranger.

Lance was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis B. Aldridge and Sheron R. Aldridge, and his grandparents, Roy Ringo, Betty Goodale, Gay Aldridge & Annie Aldridge. Lance leaves behind his sisters, Stacy Lovett and Julie Burr. His brother-in-law, Gary Lovett, his nephew, Dylan Burr, and a huge lot of cousins. Lance will be deeply missed, but his family rejoices in knowing that he is in Heaven with a healed and restored body, reuniting with his loved ones, meeting Jesus, and watching over his beloved family still here today. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life & visitation on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at 10:00 am at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home Chapel. After the service, a private-catered luncheon will follow in Lewisville.

If you plan to attend, please wear your favorite college or NFL football team shirt to support Lance's love of the sport.
