Lance is survived by his loving wife of 7 years, Jacquelyne; parents, David and Laura; sister, Nicole; nieces and nephews, Danny, Breanna, Katelyn, Mckayla, Baylee, Hope, Allie and Oliver.
Lance was born on March 20, 1972, in Melrose Park, IL. As a young man he was proud to join the United States Navy. He was a member of the Armed Forces for ten years, serving in Desert Storm. After his time in the Navy was over, Lance moved back to Elgin where he met the love of his life, Jacquelyne. Lance and Jacquelyne were married after four years of being together. Lance worked for at the Dollar Tree for many years, where many of his co-workers truly adored him. Lance had an extensive record collection and enjoyed listening to many different types of music. Not only did he like listening to music but he also played the drums. Beyond finding solace in the music he enjoyed, he also found peace at the Phillips Park Sunken Garden. He was known to spend a good amount of time taking in the beauty of the garden and enjoying the quiet calm that it offers.
Lance will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
