Lance was born on August 4, 1986, in Monroe and passed away on November 7, 2023, in Monroe.
Lance was one of the most giving people on this earth. He had a true love for others and for the citizens of Northeast Louisiana and the United States as a Red Cross volunteer. He was a Spiritual Care Volunteer that went to North Carolina and Florida to help people who were affected by hurricanes. He also assisted those in Northeast Louisiana who were affected by fire and natural disasters. He had a true heart and spirit of compassion, care and love for all. His greatest accomplishment was being a loving father, husband, son, brother and a true friend to everyone he met. The world needs more people like the child of God Lance was.
Lance was preceded in death by his mother, Robyn Varner Levie; and grandparents, William “Bill” Levie, Beverly Kay Levie, and Jerry Varner.
Survivors include his father, William Kent Levie; children, Leah Sue Ellen Levie and Anna Kay Michelle Levie; sister, Kaitlyn Levie Woodward and husband Bobby; grandmothers, Betty Lou Bobbit Vilcan and Lea Pulling; uncles, Stevie Vilcan, Jeremy Vilcan, and Jerry Varner, Jr.; aunts, Gwen Chenevert and Rachel Vilcan; niece, Kinsley Lynn Woodard; nephew, Laken Reid Woodard; and wife, Kristi Levie.
Honorary pallbearers will be Josh Lee, Adam Gwin, Joe Fandal, Reese Griffin, Shelby Reader, Bobby Woodward, Jr., Wade Jackson and John Calhoun.
We are all devastated by the unexpected passing of Lance and were not prepared for the cost of a funeral. We want to give Lance the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes. We are asking for donations to cover the cost of his funeral.
