My wife Lynn and I were classmates with Lance. He was an impressive guy with so much determination pursuing his love for basketball. We were on the 1960 Conference Cross-Country championship team. Thanks for the memories and your service.

My name was Donna Briggs when I knew Lance. We attended the same grammar school. I loved him in grammar school and high school. He did not love me back. But I did care he was a fun person in grammar school yet quiet. Basketball was his joy and he got better to where the students in the bleachers had a cheer just for him.
Carl Sandburg was a great place for us kids to get our education. My name was Donna Briggs.
