Landon Loveless Obituary

Landon had a love for sports of all kinds, but he really had a passion for football, basketball, and baseball. He could quote any stat at the drop of a hat but would let you know if a certain sport was "pointless". He had a competitive drive that couldn't be matched. That drive led him to success with his academics, such as graduating in the top 10 of his graduating class and being a member of NHS.
He loved playing Trivial Pursuit, that was taught to him by his Mimi. His goal was to beat everyone. His love language was food, and he loved his mom's cooking the most. Give him a plate filled with his favorite meals, and his day would be made. Landon loved listening to music and discovering new songs that he couldn't wait to share with his mom. His dad was his best friend. They loved to recap each day together, and Landon loved talking sports with his dad and drafting his fantasy football leagues.
He is survived by his loving parents, Bryan and Cassie Loveless; grandparents, David and Debbie Loveless, and Sandra Rigney-Rushing; special cousins: Austin Loveless and Brendan Loveless; Vera and Dax Haney; aunts and uncles: Brent Loveless, RJ and Brittany Haney, Ashley Rushing, and Bradley Rushing; sister, Leighton Loveless; and great uncle, Jimmy Walker.
Landon was preceded in death by his grandfather, Donnie Rushing.
A service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Bates-Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home at 2:00 PM.
