Langston Britton Obituary
Beloved son of Sherrard and Martha (Hightower) Britton of Romeoville; loving brother of Quincy Britton, adored grandson of Annie and the late Sammie Hightower; Pruth and the late Darryl Britton. Dear nephew of Walter White, Veah and Johnny Larde, Samara (Claude) Henderson, Samuel (Denessia) Hightower and Alex (Lucille) Hightower; Brett (Nina) Britton, Anton (Elena) Britton and Davita Britton. Godson of Alice and Craig Fong (and their family, Joey Fong, Annie and Noah Starr and Aiden Starr). Energetic cousin of Justin Patterson, Walter White Jr., Deyontavis (Dashaun) Hightower, Trevion Spraggins, Tamia Hightower, Samuel Hightower Jr., Shamiyah Hightower, Claude J. Henderson Jr., Aireona Hightower, Blythe Britton and Bree Britton. Fond great-nephew, cousin, and friend of many.
Langston grew up in Romeoville, attended KinderCare Academy (Lockport), Kenneth L. Hermanssen Elementary School, and was a 2025 graduate of A. Vito Martinez Middle School. He was looking forward to his freshman year at Romeoville High School, where he was going to take honors classes.
Langston enjoyed sharing about God with others, reading, listening to music, playing basketball, football, wrestling, and Tae Kwon Do. He also enjoyed bike riding, playing video games, travelling, and watching movies. Langston even enjoyed healthy eating!!!!
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, 3:00-8:00 PM at Community Christian Church Plainfield, 24035 W. Riverwalk Ct., Plainfield, IL 60544, (815) 267-1717.
A celebration of Langston's life will be held on Saturday, August 9, 11:00 AM in the church with Rev. John Ciesniewski officiating.
Interment will be private.

I didn't know your handsome son, but I can only imagine the pain that the family is going through. I lost my child, so I know the feelings and hurt of his parents. Keep his memories alive. Every year is little different. Take care!!!
