Lanora Aulds, 72, was born on September 1, 1952 and passed away on December 19, 2024. Visitation will be held at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville, Louisiana on Saturday, December 21, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. John Dobbs officiating. Interment will take place at Antioch Church of Christ Cemetery in Spearsville, Louisiana.
Lenora was preceded in death by her parents, Miles and Patty Green; and brother, Kenneth Green.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Glenn Aulds; son, Tony Aulds (April); grandson, Ian Aulds; sister, Terri Hardy (George); brother, Gary Lynn Green (Francis); sister-in-law, Ann Green; uncles, Gawain Green and Leslie Spigener; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Lanora was a member of Forsythe Church of Christ. She retired from the Ouachita Parish Library System and taught at many schools in the area. She was Honorary Regent for D'Arbonne Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution. She served from 2019 until her illness progressed in 2023. Lanora was also past Co-Chairman for Literacy for the Louisiana Society, Daughters of the American Revolution.
