Lara Katherine Kruse, age 48 of Naperville, IL passed away on April 9, 2023. She was born in Seguin, Texas and moved to Naperville in 1987. She is survived by her Father David Kruse, Brothers Michael, and Phillip Kruse. She is preceded in death by her mother Linda Kruse. Lara graduated from Naperville Central Highschool in 1992 then attended college at Western Illinois University, graduating in 1996 with a degree in accounting. She received her master's degree from DePaul University and worked for TForce Logistics.
Lara aka Vinnie, aka LaLa had a great love for her family and her friends. She had an infectious love for all dogs and especially her own Lissie. She was a devoted Chicago sports fan (Go, Cubs, GO!) Lara loved baking cakes, cookies, and whatever anyone wanted or needed. She touched many with her special baking talents and always dreamed of her own bakery. Lara loved music and going to concerts. She had a special love for Pearl Jam and Eddie Vedder! Lara loved being with kids and especially her goddaughters Elise Schrubbe and Kate Schrubbe. Lara had a laugh and sense of humor that will always be remembered. Lara was an extraordinarily kind person who would do anything for anyone. Lara loved beach vacations and being with family and friends. Lara will be remembered for her laugh, her sense of humor, her love, her kindness for all who she touched and the color purple.
A celebration of life will be held for Lara on April 21, 2023, at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Homes & Crematory, 516 S. Washington St., Naperville, from 4-7pm, in Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Naperville Area Humane Society.
