On March 17th, 1964, LaRae Lynne Post was born to Gerald and Lorraine (Lemke) Post in Luverne, MN.
LaRae was baptized on May 31st, 1964 at United Presbyterian Church in Luverne. LaRae grew up and went to school in Worthington, MN. She graduated from Mankato State University. LaRae, Gerald, Lorraine, and her sister Stephanie Haynes, called Owatanna home for many years. She was a long-time valued employee of Federated Insurance. LaRae's most recent residence was at Forte Living in Rochester, MN to be closer to her family. She made many wonderful friendships during her time there.
LaRae immensely enjoyed decorating wreaths and her Christmas tree, as well as watching sports and Hallmark movies. She recently traveled to Europe out of celebration for turning 60 years old. LaRae loved raising her three kitties: Kitsy, India, and Mateo. Mateo, her current cat, who she adored, will be staying within the immediate family. Above all, was LaRae's love for her family and friends. She loved her nieces dearly and told everyone about them.
LaRae is survived by her sister, Stephanie (Mark) Haynes, of Cottage Grove, MN; her nieces, Ashley and Kayla Haynes, and Trish and Tiffany; and her Little Sister Jessica. LaRae is also survived by her cherished aunt, cousins, & friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Lorraine Post.
A memorial service will be held at 3pm on Friday, September 20, 2024 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home, 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at 12pm on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at the Sunset Rest Cemetery in Rushmore, Minnesota.
