LARON A. ROSS Jr., a man whose spirit resonated warmth and camaraderie, departed this world on November 6, 2024, at age of 82. Born on September 17, 1942, Laron embraced life with a fervor that transformed ordinary moments into cherished memories, all while offering his unwavering love to family and friends.

Laron's heart was deeply rooted in the joys of togetherness. He found unparalleled fulfillment in the simple act of sharing laughter and love around the grill, where he would skillfully flip burgers and sizzle steaks, bringing tastes of happiness to gatherings that lingered in everyone’s hearts. His joy was magnified by his passion for the outdoors—whether casting a line in the still waters while fishing, traveling to new horizons, or working on cars that carried stories of adventure and ingenuity, Laron thrived in these experiences that enriched his life and the lives of those around him.

A proud veteran, he served his country honorably in the United States Army, embodying the values of duty, honor, and courage. This part of his life shaped not just his character but also the legacy he would leave behind, rooted firmly in service and integrity.

As we gather to celebrate Laron’s life, we invite you to join us at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas. The viewing will take place on December 3, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, allowing friends and family to pay their respects and share fond memories. In honoring Laron A. Ross Jr., let us remember a man who understood that life’s greatest treasures are found not in material things but in the bonds forged with loved ones, in the stories shared by the fire, and in the quiet moments spent on the water’s edge. His legacy will continue to illuminate our lives, reminding us of the joy of connection and the enduring power of love.
