Larry Eugene Barnard

Larry Eugene Barnard 62, of Saint Joseph, MO., passed away Thursday June 1, 2023 at Mosaic Life Care Hospital. He was born August 7, 1960 in St. Joseph, Missouri son of the late Lottie & Lawrence Barnard. His dad started Barnard Auto Salvage where Larry worked for most of his life and later became the owner with his brother in 2014. He enjoyed fishing and was a member of the 4-F Flathead club, he also enjoyed mowing grass, car rides, and spending time at home. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 infant siblings. He is survived by sons, Darrin (Jamie) Barnard and Aaron Barnard, grandchildren Jake and Lauren, brother Jerry Barnard, and sisters; Judy (Keith) Harris, Janet Barnard, and Jeannie (Aaron) Peckman, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 - 7:00 pm on Wednesday with a memorial service and public live stream following at 7:00 pm Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at the Rupp Funeral Home. He will be cremated under the care of the Rupp Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to the 4 F Flathead club. Private inurnment service at a later date.
