With great sadness, we announce the passing of Larry Bertalotto, who entered into eternal rest on April 1, 2025, at his home. Born on November 30, 1955, in Houston, Larry was one of ten children to Marion Frank and Wille Mae Bertalotto.
Larry's passion for baseball began at a young age, and it was at just 12 years old that he met the love of his life. At a little league game, Larry's heart was stolen by a young girl named Camellia. One look was all it took, and from that moment, Larry was love-struck. Their love blossomed, and they were married on June 10, 1978. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Anthony and Allison, who were the pride of his life.
Larry cherished his family unconditionally, always doting on the accomplishments of his seven grandchildren. He had a deep love for his family, and his devotion to them was evident in everything he did. Larry also had a love for the Houston Astros, enjoying many games and sharing his passion with those closest to him. He found comfort in reading the newspaper with a cup of coffee in hand, often with his beloved puppers by his side.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Willa Mae Bertalotto. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Camellia, his son Anthony (and his wife), his daughter Allison (and her husband), his cherished grandchildren, and his siblings: David, Janet, Raymond, Craig, Glen, Keith, Jenny, Joseph, and Julie. His memory will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
May he rest in peace.
