Obituary
Larry Paul Besing, 84, of Buckskin, passed away at his home on Monday, August 21, 2023. He was born in Evansville, IN on August 16, 1939, one of 6 children to the late Norman Besing and Thelma (Grimwood) Besing. He was a lifelong farmer and spent 22 years of his working life as a supervisor for Kent/Ball Plastic and Sun Beam Plastics. Larry was a member of the St. John's Church of Buckskin. He will be greatly missed.
Larry is survived by his children, Anthony "Tony" Besing (Karen) of Buckskin, Keith Besing (Patty) of Buckskin, and Kenny Besing (Anita) of Francisco; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jim Besing (Beverly) of Evansville.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Judith (Miller) Besing; son, Brian Scott Besing; great-grandson, Gage Besing; and siblings, Donald Besing, Doris Campbell, Jerry Besing, and Norma Lee Wallace.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon Friday, August 25, 2023 at St. John's Church of Buckskin with Pastor Paul Cavander officiating. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Buckskin. Visiting hours will be held Friday from 10 AM until the hour of service.
