Larry Blough

Larry Blough 74, beloved husband, father, papa, sibling and friend, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June, 26th 2024 in his home in Thornton, CO. He courageously fought a 2 year battle with stomach cancer. Larry and twin (Terry) were born to Louise and Jack Blough, June 17th 1950 at Porter Hospital in Denver CO. In 1969, one of the years of the draft, the Army came calling. Instead, Larry chose to join the Air Force. He and Debi Cleary were married and began their military journey in Azores Portugal. They would have celebrated 55 years of marriage this September. Larry joined the Fire Protection Sprinkler trade where he worked for over 30 yrs before retirement. He was a proud Union member and was well respected and called a mentor and true friend by many. His true love was for fishing and hunting. The mountains were his serenity, and taking his grandson (Josh) dove hunting and trout fishing. He was a wonderful family man, husband, father and papa. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Debi Blough, daughter Kristi King (Mark) grandson Josh, as well as his siblings Kay, Terry, Ron, and Pam. He will be greatly missed by so many and always remembered for being a warrior and a man of honor. Larry will be cremated, we invite you to please privately celebrate Larry's memory in your own ways. We know he will be with us all in spirit.
