Larry Breeze Obituary
Larry founded Breeze Real Estate, where he has served Rowan County as a real estate agent and broker since 1978. He also served as mayor of Morehead, KY from 1989 -1993. Larry loved flying airplanes, riding tractors, and tackling complex jobs on his skid loader. He enjoyed the art of negotiation and telling stories to make everyone laugh.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his oldest brother, Donald R. Breeze. Larry is survived by his wife, Janet Breeze, and his five children: Larry Michael (Jennifer) Breeze, Lee Ann (Ken) Disponett, Gary David (Brandy) Breeze, James Russell (Suzanne) Breeze, Cara Michele Breeze (Matt), the mother of his children, Peggy Breeze, and nine grandchildren: Zayda Greene, Carson Disponett, Delaney Disponett, Leyla Greene, Ryan Disponett, Ella Breeze, Nash Donaldson, E.V. Breeze and Larry Taylor Breeze; step children: Melissa Tolliver (Lee), Johnathon Tolliver (Becky), Christopher McAtee (Ambrosia); step grandchildren: Cameron Tolliver, Harper Tolliver, Ayden Nickerson, and Connor Huffman; and two brothers: William H. "Bill" Jr. (Cheryl) Breeze and Gary W. (Joyce) Breeze, plus many treasured cousins, nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, August 6, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Mark Caldwell and Pastor Jeff Fannin officiating. Burial will follow at the Breeze-Hord Cemetery, Mt. Carmel, KY.
Pallbearers will be Bill Russell Breeze, Bill Breeze, Robert Conners, Jason Feldhaus, Johnny Tolliver, Chris McAtee, Dwayne Allen, and Lee Mayes.
Visitation for Larry Breeze will be from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, August 6, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
