Publish in a newspaper

It is with heavy hearts and great sorrow that we announce that our beloved Father/Brother/Friend Larry Castanon passed away on September 10th, 2025.
He was born on May 27th, 1953, to Frances & Gilbert Castanon in Fresno California. A devoted son, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He never missed a birthday or special family gathering. He also made every effort to attend his grandchildren's sports games, shows, graduations. He was proud of their accomplishments and their biggest fan, always trying to help them succeed in whatever they do and cheering on from the sidelines. He was a lifelong resident of Fresno Ca. and a graduate of Roosevelt High School.
Larry served his country as a Marine and was a Veteran who retired with honors. He is survived by his (4) brothers Gilbert, Eddie, David and Jimmy, (2) sisters Rachel, & Sylvia, his daughter Cynthia, as well as his grandchildren Corina, Ronald, Leighann, Issac, Bella, David Jr., and his great grandchildren Julian, Ronnie Boi, Jonah, Matthew, Taelynn, and Taevion. He is preceded in death by his Father & Mother Gilbert & Frances, and his son Ronald.
There are so many things Larry was passionate about, whether it was helping others, being a softball coach, or driving Taxi. He was well known for his caring heart, humorous laughter, as well as being a courageous, strong father figure to his only daughter & his grandchildren as they too lost their fathers at a young age. Larry will always be remembered for his helpful & gracious ways of being a friend and there for anyone who needed him, he will forever live in our hearts.
Please join us in wishing Larry his last farewell:
