Larry Chambley Obituary
Mr. Chambley was born on January 9, 1949, in Thomaston, Georgia, to the late Calvin Rudolph Chambley and the late Dorothy Helen Sparks Chambley. He graduated from R.E. Lee in 1968 where he played all sports, he played baseball at Silvertown, and on the Atlanta Braves minor league team. Mr. Rick was an avid outdoorsman and will always be remembered for being a loving husband, father and grandfather. He retired from his own pest control business and was of the Methodist Faith. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son in law, Jeff Brown.
Survivors include his wife Deborah Langford Chambley of Hamilton, daughter, Cory Brown of Hamilton, son, Richard Chambley of Smiths Station, Alabama, grandchildren, Lydia and Hunter Brown.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 25, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
