Larry Fay Clarkson, 76, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Monday March 3rd, 2025 at Shanti Niketan Hospice Home in Glasgow, Ky.
Larry was born in Monroe County, Ky on November 16, 1948, to the late Fay Clarkson and Ada Turner (Clarkson) England. He is preceded in death by his wife Josephine
Clarkson, his father (Fay) and his mother (Ada), two brothers Wendell and Ralph, and a sister Kathleen Clarkson.
He is survived by two sons Randy Clarkson, wife Ellen and Darren Clarkson, wife Gara, step-daughter, Amanda Hutcherson and step-son, Wesley Pitcock, one sister, Christine Smith,He leaves a legacy of 10 grandchildren. Cameron Proffitt, Torie Wilson (Matt), Trent Clarkson, (Steffi-Noel), Skylar Filkins (Austin), Adasyn Clarkson, Bryce Clarkson, Tate Myatt, Micah Myatt, Abby Williams (Brylan), and Austin Hutcherson. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, Bryce, Aria, Abrahm, Adaley, Paxton, Kensley, Coleson, Trenity, and Weston and several nieces and nephews.
Larry was a member of the Freewill Church of Christ and worked over 31 years at SKF Industries in Glasgow, KY. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. His passions were UK basketball, old cars, good food and good humor. He will be greatly missed by all those who loved him.
Funeral Service will be held at 12 noon, Friday, March 7 at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville,KY. Dr. Jerry Neal Bean officiating. Burial to follow at Bethlehem Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Thursday, 4-8 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. until service time at 12 noon at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Larry's memory may be made to Bethlehem Cemetery, or Shanti Niketan Hospice Home in Glasgow, KY.
