Larry Clay III, 45, was born on June 5, 1980, in St. Louis, MO, to Larry Clay Sr., and Renita Clay of St. Louis, MO. Larry was the middle child and had four siblings, including two brothers who preceded him in death. Larry "Andy" Clay IV, his twin, and Jonathan Simpson. His father Larry Clay Sr., also preceded him in death.

Larry went to school at Orchard Farms, and St Charles High School. He also took a few classes at St. Louis Community College, at Florissant Valley. Before getting his GED, he received his fork lift license at Mednik Riverbend where he was employed until he passed. Above all the great things he accomplished in his 45 years, the greatest title he ever received was "Dad". He was a father to two sons, Justice & Isaiah, whom he both loved and cherished.

On August 25, 2011, Larry Clay was united in holy matrimony to the love of his life, Kara Jo McGee. Their union has been magical to watch over the years.

Larry loved to cook and definitely knew his way around the kitchen. He had a passion for helping others, even setting up food drives for charity and raising donations for families in need. He also had an undying love for music. He even has a few of his own songs on YouTube.

Larry adopted the childhood nickname "Amos" and later "LG Da Prince", naturally. Royalty, he was indeed. Larry will forever be loved and cherished by all who knew and loved him. He was a vibrant soul who truly loved life and lived it to the fullest, always on a high. With music in his heart, and joy in his spirit. He cherished his loved ones deeply and left an unforgettable mark on everyone lucky enough to know him. A straight shooter, a thoroughbred through and through, he was honest, real, and unapologetically himself. His presence lit up every room, and his legacy will echo through his two sons, and the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Larry Clay is survived by his devoted wife Kara; his loving mother, Renita Clay, two sons; Justice and Isaiah; his only sister Recole, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a number of close friends.
