Larry Wayne Collins

Larry Wayne Collins, a grandfather, loyal friend, and generous soul, peacefully passed away on October 4, 2025, at the age of 81.

He was born on July 16, 1944. Larry lived a life defined by hard work, quiet strength, and a deep care for others. He was the kind of man who never hesitated to lend a helping hand. Larry believed in doing good without expecting anything in return, and his life was a reflection of that belief.

Larry was a man who led by example. His hands were rarely still, always building, fixing, planting, or playing. He gave freely of his time and his wisdom, offering both with kindness and humility. Above all, he was a deeply loving grandfather and a loyal, steadfast friend. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and a sense of light to those around him.

Larry's memory will live on in every strum of a guitar, every blooming flower, and every life he touched. He will be missed more than words can say.

Funeral arrangements are scheduled for Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at Lamb Funeral Home located at 302 Broad Drive SW in Concord. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 P.M. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Concord. Lamb Funeral Home Inc. will be serving the family.
