Larry Wayne Collins

Larry Wayne Collins, age 65, of Woodbine, KY, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Baptist Health Corbin.

Born in Manchester, KY, he was the son of the late Jimmy Collins and Ellen Lawson Collins.

Larry worked as a tow truck driver for more than 30 years, a job he truly loved and took great pride in. He enjoyed the open road and the opportunity to help others, and his hard work and dedication earned him the respect of many. Outside of work, Larry was an avid racing fan who enjoyed anything with an engine, from NASCAR to truck racing. He also loved watching football and especially cheering for his favorite team, the Indianapolis Colts.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jeremie Collins, and his sisters, Pearl Baker and Faye Mielke.

He is survived by his daughter, Becky Mays; grandchildren, Dusty Mays, Brent Davis, Jr., Ashley Davis, Brittany Davis, Kara Davis, and Keilana Keith; great grandchildren, Landen, Liam, and Caysem; and his siblings, Kathy Collins, Helen Adler, James Collins, and Elmer Collins.

At his request, services will be handled privately.
