Larry Croxton

Larry Croxton passed away April 30, 2024 at his home in Leander, TX.
He was born June 16, 1945, in Edinburg, TX to Cleo and Audrey (Arthur) Croxton. At the age of 8, his family moved to Kingsville and that is where he grew up. He met the love of his life, Katharine (Butler), and they married June 25, 1965, in Kingsville. In 1967, Larry began work for Dow Chemical in Lake Jackson. They lived in the Brazosport area for 44 years and then joined their children and grandchildren in central Texas in 2011.
Larry loved cars. His favorite thing to watch on TV was NASCAR races. He loved working on cars and did repairs for friends and family. While he loved cars, the thing that brought him the most joy was spending time with his grandchildren. He loved watching them participate in their favorite activities and attended as many as he could.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jack Croxton.
Surviving loving family includes: wife Kathy Croxton; son Cody Croxton and wife Amy; daughter Kendell Winters and husband Cole; grandchildren Brendan Winters and wife Bianca, Kaelin Winters, Ryan Croxton, Riley Croxton, Collin Winters, Will Croxton, and beloved nephew Jack Garnet Croxton.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 4th at 3 pm at Prairie Lea Cemetery.
