Larry Ray Dick, 73, of Bridgeport, West Virginia passed away on December 14, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.

Larry proudly served in the United States Navy and devoted more than 40 years of his life to Sheet Metal Workers Local 33, earning the respect of coworkers through his dedication and strong work ethic. He was also a longtime member of the Bridgeport American Legion Post 68.

In his free time, Larry enjoyed fishing with friends and family at Long Point Lodge in Canada, where he made countless memories doing what he loved most.

Larry is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patricia Dick, of Bridgeport, WV; his children, Johnny Dick and his wife Laura of Bridgeport, WV, and Brooke Bise and her husband Nelson Bise, Jr., of Mount Clare, WV; and his beloved grandchildren, Nicole Bise, Austin, and Aiden, all of Bridgeport, WV, and his adopted grandson, Trayden Hart of Mount Clare, WV.

He is also survived by two sisters, Debbie Crim of Bridgeport, WV, and Twila Reed and her husband Eddie Reed of Glenville, WV; one half-sister, Cindy Dick of Indiana; and one half-brother, John Patrick Adams of Little Rock, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Ronnie Crim.

Larry is also survived by several nieces and nephews, including April High and her husband Phil of Bridgeport, WV, and the late Candy Richards. Two nieces and nephews held a special place in his heart; Billy Reed and his wife Courtney Reed of PA, and Randi and Johnathan Sprouse of Glenville, WV.

The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at DaVita Dialysis of Clarksburg for their compassionate care and support.

Larry will be remembered for his love of family, dedication to his work and country, and the many lives he touched throughout his life.

Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport, on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m., where services will be held at 6 p.m. with Reverend Tom Horne presiding.
