Larry John Douglas, Sr., of Cuba, MO was born on Saturday, December 26, 1953, in New London, NH, to John Elmer Douglas and Ruth Frances Reed. He passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Cuba Care Network in Cuba, MO, at the age of 71 years, 8 months, and 11 days.
Larry was raised in Hayward, CA. Larry attended Mt. Eden High School before beginning a career in the construction industry, specializing in carpet installation. A lifelong sports fan, Larry loved football and baseball. He was a proud and devoted supporter of the Raiders and the Oakland A's, never missing a chance to cheer on his teams.
He was preceded in death by his parents John Douglas and Ruth Reed; grandparents Elmer and Julia Douglas and Harry and Florence Reed; great grandparents John and Josephine White; and cousin, Dianne Douglas.

Larry is survived by his children Jason Douglas of Sacramento, CA, Nikole Castro of Boise, ID, Cynthia Alexander of Wilmington, DE, Ashley Wallace of Woodland, WA, and Larry John Douglas, Jr. of Villa Ridge, MO; sisters Gail Crow of Reno, NV, Carolyn Mazzanti of Castro Valley, CA, Debbie Dulaney of San Diego, CA, and Tammy Dodson of Discovery Bay, CA; grandchildren Edie Douglas, Jakob Castro, Annabella Castro, and Jenevieve Castro all of Boise, ID, Lexi Alexander, Donavon Alexander, and Averie Alexander all of Wilmington, DE, Riley Wallace, Mason Wallace, Aurora Wallace, Aubree Wallace and Addisyn Wallace of Woodland, WA, Triniti Douglas, Liliahna Douglas, Kaiden Douglas, and Westin Douglas all of Villa Ridge, MO; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family chose cremation as his final disposition.
All arrangements under the direction of Hutson Funeral Home, Cuba, MO.
