Larry J. Dunn, Sr., entered the Lord’s Kingdom on Friday, May 24, 2024 at the United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia.
Larry was born on September 15, 1965 in Medina, a son of the late Ronald and Meta (Swett) Dunn. He attended Medina High School and received his GED. In 1996 Larry earned his AA degree in Industrial Technology. He currently was employed at Whiting Door in Akron. Larry was very mechanically inclined and could figure out how to fix anything. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. The ting Larry enjoyed the most in life was spending time with his children.
In addition to his parents, Larry was predeceased by his son, Justin Dunn; and two brothers, Ronald Dunn, Jr. and Stanley Dunn.
He is survived by his son, Larry J. Dunn, Jr.; daughter, Briana Dunn both of Medina; brother, Bryon (Robin) Dunn; sisters, Eloise Pielacha of Lackawanna, Kathleen Martin, Juanita (Lee) Richards, LouAnn Lindsley (Kent Bane) all of Medina; twin sister, Lois (Tom) Kollenbach of Sarasota, FL; twenty-three nieces and nephews and several cousins.
At Larry’s request, there will be no funeral services. A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Lipson Cancer Institute at www.rrhgive.org, the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org/donate or to PAWS Animal Shelter, 3371 Gaines Basin Rd., Albion, NY 14411. Arrangements are in the care of Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina.
