Larry "Griz" Edwards

Mr. Larry "Griz" Edwards, age 74, of Manning passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at McLeod Regional Medical Center with his family by his side. Mr. Edwards was the husband of the late Mary Edwards and son of the late Kelly Minton and Esther Huggins Edwards. In addition to his wife and parents, he is predeceased by one brother, Denny Edwards. Mr. Edwards was owner and operator of Waccamaw Exterminating Company for 40 years. He was an avid outdoorsman that loved to hunt and fish. Mr. Edwards was a member of The Wildlife Action and The Omar Shriners. Surviving Mr. Edwards are his three daughters: Karen Parsons (Alex White), Margaret Sawyer (Charles) and Laura Hamby (Brad); two grandchildren: Ian William Parker Parsons (Ashley) and Jamison White; two great grandchildren: Hugo William Parsons and Violet Mary Parsons; siblings: Jimmy Edwards, Kelly Edwards, and DeJuan Hinson; and many nieces and nephews. A private service will be held to celebrate Mr. Edwards' life with Pastor Billy Phillips and his brother Jimmy Edwards officiating.
