Larry Allen Einspahr

Larry Allen Einspahr, 82, of Ogallala passed away Thursday, October 30th at the Ogallala Community Hospital surrounded by his family.

Larry was born June 9, 1943, in Imperial, Nebraska, to Ludwig and Ida (Ady) Einspahr. Larry attended Imperial Public Schools and graduated from high school in 1961. He joined the National Guard in January of 1961 and was discharged after three years.

Larry worked as a body man at a local body shop in Imperial before moving to Ogallala in 1965.

In 1967, Larry married Gloria Hansen in Ogallala. To this union, three children were born: Traci, Christopher, and Michael. They divorced in 1978.

He worked at multiple local area body shops before retiring from Kohl Motors.

Larry was proceeded in death by his parents Ludwig and Ida and brother-in-law Leroy Harms.

Larry is survived by his daughter Traci (Craig) Draucker, two sons, Christopher (Vanessa) and Michael (Kristine) Einspahr, and one sister, Carmen Brand. Larry was blessed with seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday, November 7, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Draucker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jon Dickmander of St John’s Ev. Lutheran Church of Brule officiating. Interment will be in the Ogallala Cemetery. A memorial has been established to the Ogallala Community Hospital.

No visitation scheduled.
