David Oren Einspahr passed away at his home on September 28th, 2025 at the age of 70 years old.

He was born May 30, 1955 to Dennis and Joyce (Hopkins) Einspahr in Imperial. He first attended grade school in Wauneta, then attended rural country school when the family moved onto the farm. Later he returned to town school to graduate from Wauneta High School in 1974. Dave was confirmed at rural St. Paul Lutheran Church and was active in 4-H and in FFA. After high school he attended tech school, then returned to the family farm to work alongside his father. Upon his father Dennis' death, the family farm was sold and David moved into Wauneta with his mother Joyce. He very much enjoyed fishing, often making a trip to nearby Enders Reservoir.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents Dennis and Joyce. He is survived by his brother Tim Einspahr, nieces Kimberly and Laurie, and extended family. He is also survived by a special friend who in David's later years guided him back to a healthier lifestyle and to rededicating himself to God.

An Open House book signing, where family will greet friends will be held on Saturday, October 11th from 1 p.m. (MST) to 3 p.m. at Liewer Funeral Home, Wauneta, NE.
