Larry Eldridge Obituary
Larry Dean Eldridge, 69, of Sherman, Texas, died at Texoma Medical Center on July 14, 2024.
He was born in McAlester, Oklahoma, in 1954, and grew up in Mesquite, Texas. After high school, he joined the Marines. Larry then attended East Texas State where he met his wife of 46 years, Virginia. He went on to earn a PhD from Vanderbilt University where daughter Emily was born.
He enjoyed teaching, writing, and travel. He was always looking forward to the next adventure, including scuba diving, glider plane flying, and skydiving.
A Family Night will be held 5-7pm on July 25 at Fisher Funeral Home in Denison, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to a charity of your choice.
