Larry Evans Obituary
Larry Evans, age 72, of Beaverton, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024. He was born on October 5, 1952, the son of Ronald and Mable (Longstreth) Evans in Gladwin, MI. Larry was employed as an equipment operator for many years at Pika International.
Larry had a passion for football, fishing, and politics. He also enjoyed reading and socializing, often engaging in conversations with others. Above all, Larry cherished his family and the time he spent with them.
He is survived by his children, Robert (Nora) Ptasznik, Rebecca (Mike) Gohm, and Raymond (Kayse) Ptasznik; grandchildren: Johnathon Gohm, Michael Gohm, Briana Ptasznik, Krista Parsons, Elizabeth Lovett, Olivia Lovett, Brandon Ptasznik, Addiken Longoria, Lucas Ptasznik, and Julia Lovett; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Wayne Evans, Robert Evans, Sandra Calhoun, David Evans, and Tim Evans; and several nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Tom Evans.
Funeral Services will take place on Friday, November 22, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Beaverton. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Beaverton Library. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home. www.hallkokotovichfuneralhome.com
