Larry S. Fossum, 67, of Warsaw, IN, formerly of Moorhead, MN, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025, in Moorhead. Larry was born May 23, 1958, to Lloyd and Patricia (Simonson) Fossum. He grew up on the family farm north of Moorhead, MN, and graduated from Moorhead High School. Following high school, Larry attended college in Moorhead, MN, earning a degree in culinary arts. After college Larry resumed farming alongside his father and brothers. Larry continued to farm until moving into town in the late 1990's. In 2007 he moved to Indiana, he resided there until his death. Over the years, he worked in various industries. He was passionate about helping others, was very handy and could fix anything, and enjoyed being able to help his neighbors and friends whenever needed.
Larry is survived by his children Heather (Shane Krueger) Fossum and Joshua (Elizabeth) Fossum, and extended chosen family Bridget (Andrew) Charon, Cody (Mara) Weigel, and Brody Hanson. He leaves behind seven grandchildren - Quincy, Jarrett, Corbin, Evan, Lily, Silas, and Reece. He is also survived by his mother, Pat Fossum, and siblings Diana (David) Hagens, Paul (Sherri) Fossum, and Mark Fossum; and many other family and friends.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd; his best friend and late significant other Patty Hanson, and beloved nephews Scott and Dakota "Cody" Fossum.
A celebration of Larry’s life will be held at a later date.
