Larry Eston Fowler, aged 78, passed away on May 25, 2025, in McCalla, Alabama. Born on December 19, 1946, in Blount County, Alabama, Larry was a cherished country man who dedicated over 25 years of his life as a proud truck driver, a career he deeply loved.
Larry's life was a testament to his love for his family and simple pleasures. He was a devoted husband to Linda S. Fowler and a loving father to Heath Hoffman and Tracey Miller (Kelly). His joy was multiplied as a Paw Paw to Amanda, Curtis, Madison, Devon, Mackenzie, and three great-grandchildren. Larry also held a special place in his heart for his siblings, Wayne Fowler, Mary Brown, and Sussie Richey. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eston Ellie and Elizabeth Fowler, and his daughter, Kimberly Jo Wright.
His passions included listening to gospel music, enjoying family gatherings, and relaxing at the beach. Larry's pets, his cat Buddy and his dogs, were also a significant part of his life, bringing him much joy and companionship.
Visitation for Larry will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, followed by the funeral services at 2:00 pm. Both services will take place at the Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland, AL. Larry's life and legacy will be remembered fondly by all who knew him, as a man who loved deeply and lived simply.
