Larry Freeling Obituary
A service celebrating his life and burial of his ashes will be held at noon on Friday, August 23, at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Sodus Township with Rev. James Dunn officiating. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements are by the Fairplain Chapel of Florin Funeral Service in Benton Township. Please share messages or memories at www.florin.net.
Larry was born on December 25, 1943, in LaPorte, IN, to Henry and Marvel Freeling. He was a heavy equipment operator and truck driver for Kalin Construction Company for many years. Larry retired in 2012 to help with his wife, Pat, who died in 2013. He and his wife, Pat, were married over 40 years before her death. Larry enjoyed NASCAR racing, woodworking and fishing. He loved to watch the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears play. Larry was very generous with his time and would help anyone who asked him.
His family includes his step-children, his daughters, his many grandchildren and his many great grandchildren.
