Larry Wayne Glenn

Larry Wayne Glenn, 62, Altus, passed away on August 3, 2025, in Altus, Oklahoma. Larry was born on April 8, 1963, to Wayne Anderson and Delores "Kay" Glenn. Larry was a lifelong resident of Oklahoma and graduated from Altus High School in 1981. To say that Larry followed the path less traveled is a vast understatement. Right or wrong he did things his way. There was not anything he could not build or fix. Mostly because there was not anything he could not tear up. He worked many jobs and made many friends and a few enemies during his time here. He took on life as though it was a fight to the finish and in the end, he finally found his peace. He was a son, a big brother, a friend, a father, and a grandfather. He was family. It was not easy for him to show it, but he loved his family and friends deeply.
Though our journey with Larry was not always easy, he was ours, and we loved him. Through all the ups and downs, there were still moments of laughter, connection, and love that we will always hold onto. His story matters, and his memory will live on in each of us. We trust that he has finally found the peace he has always looked for.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Kay. He is survived by his twin daughters, Ivy and Larime Glenn; one granddaughter, Lennyn June; one son, Tanner Lemons; and one brother, Steve Glenn. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and at time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace." Love you brother. The fight is over, go rest now.
