Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bradley Funeral Home - Marlton from Dec. 30 to Dec. 31, 2025.
Laurence N. Glenn, known affectionately as Larry to his friends and family, passed away peacefully at his home in
Voorhees, New Jersey, on December 27, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on June 20, 1949, in
Doylestown, Pennsylvania, Larry was a man of intelligence, and a deep faith who left an indelible mark on the lives of those he touched.
Raised in Abington, Pennsylvania, Larry was a proud graduate of Abington High School's Class of 1968. His thirst for knowledge and dedication to helping others led him to Temple University, where he earned his master's degree in physician assistant studies. After a brief period working as a physician assistant, Larry's entrepreneurial spirit took flight. He joined Doctor's On Call, a move that would define his professional life. With vision and tenacity, he acquired the company and transformed it into Worldwide Health Services, serving as CFO/CEO for over three decades until his retirement in 2001.
Larry's Christian faith was a cornerstone of his life. He was an active member of Kingsway Church in Cherry Hill, where he was involved in the life groups. His commitment to his faith was evident in his everyday actions and the way he lived his life.
Family was the heart of Larry's world. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Patty Glenn, and his adoring children, Marygrace Taylor and her husband, Sam, Georgie Monschein and her husband, Dave, Jas Glenn, and Brandon Glenn. He cherished every moment spent with them, from attending their sports events to simply enjoying their company. Larry's role as a grandfather to Eli Taylor, Brett Monschein, and James Monschein was one of his greatest joys. Larry also leaves behind his siblings, Nancy Glenn, Alan Glenn, and he carries on the memory of his late sister, Elizabeth Arnold, along with many nieces and nephews who will miss his guidance and love.
Larry loved the lake he lived on and during the summer he would float on the lake for hours on end. An avid traveler, Larry's adventures took him to the far corners of the world, including Europe, the Galápagos Islands, and Machu Picchu. His passion for World War II history often intertwined with his travels, as he sought to learn and experience as much as he could about the era. Despite his love for exploration, Larry was a private person at heart, known for his problem-solving skills and his willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Larry was an avid fan of the Sixers, Phillies, and Eagles.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, on Friday, January 9, 2026, at Kingsway Church 2701 Chapel Ave, Cherry Hill Township, NJ 08002. A Celebration of Life will begin at 11:00 am, at the church.
