Larry Bernard Goffney, a cherished soul born on May 15, 1944, departed this earthly realm on November 1, 2025. He lived a life marked by kindness, wisdom, and unwavering resilience, leaving behind an indelible imprint on the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
As a pillar in his community, Larry embodied the virtues of compassion and understanding. His laughter resonated in the lives of family and friends alike, serving as a gentle reminder of the power of connection and love. Though he has left this world, the memories he created will continue to weave through the fabric of the lives he touched.
Larry's journey will be honored with a Wake Service held at the Golden Gate Funeral Home-ALLENE CHAPEL in Dallas, Texas, on November 6, 2025, starting at 6:00 PM and concluding at 7:00 PM. Following this, his earthly remains will find their final resting place at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery on November 7, 2025, where the burial service will commence at 10:00 AM.
In these moments of remembrance, may we gather together to celebrate the life of a remarkable man who enriched our lives with his spirit, and may we carry forward his legacy of love and kindness in our own journeys.
