Larry Paul Haley

Funeral services for Larry Paul Haley will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2024, in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, with Reverend Jonathon Murphy officiating. Interment will follow in Alexandria Memorial Gardens, Woodworth, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.
Mr. Haley, 76, of Boyce, entered eternal rest on Saturday, January 20, 2024, in his residence with his loving family by his side.
Larry was a U.S. Navy Veteran, serving in the Vietnam War. His passion was Aviation and he was a pilot for forty-three years. He worked his way to ATP-Captain, where he flew corporate jets. He was an avid deer hunter and was president of L & A Hunting Club #2 for forty years. He was also on the Gardner Water Board. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Bessie Haley.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his loving wife of nineteen years, Clara Haley of Cotile; two sons, Chris Haley (Jennifer) of Virginia and Fletcher McQueen of Arkansas; one daughter, Patrice Haley of Baton Rouge; five grandsons, Caplan Haley, James Hastings, Chase Hastings, Zachary McQueen, and Jayce McKay; three granddaughters, Haley McKay, Emma McKay, and Camaryn Haley; and two great grandchildren, Benjamin and Evangeline.
A time of visitation will be held at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Visitation will resume in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, on Thursday, January 25, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Zachary McQueen, Nicholas "Fireball" Strange, Jayce McKay, Caplan Haley, Russell Brice, and James Hastings. Honorary Pallbearers will be Robert Despino, and Rod Esterak.
