Larry Allan Hamman, 78, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2025 at his home in Monroe, GA. After being raised in Warsaw, IN, he spent several years traveling the world while serving in the Air Force. He settled in Montgomery, AL, where he retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He moved to Georgia in 2015 to be near family.
Typically a man of few words, he had a wide variety of interests and hobbies that included hunting, shooting, guns, golf, music, reading, and animals. Most important to him was family, and he was especially proud of his "girls." He leaves behind a loving family that includes his wife of almost 52 years, Kyong Hui (Sunny), and his daughters, Debra Cannarella (Andy) and Kim Moore (Jeremy).
A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 12:00 noon at The Orchard Church, 1950 Hwy 81, Loganville, GA. Visitation will be followed by a small and brief service beginning at 12:30 p.m. A private interment will be held at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Kidney Fund or a charity of the donor's choice.
Condolences may be sent or viewed at www.wagesfuneralhome.com. Tom M. Wages Funeral Service, A Family Company, 3705 Highway 78 West, Snellville, GA 30039 (770-979-3200) has been entrusted with the arrangements.
