Larry I. Hauserman, 88, of Topeka passed away on Saturday October 12, 2024. He was born November 25, 1935 at Oak Hill, Kansas the son of Clarence and Elpha (Stites) Hauserman. He graduated from Longford Rural High School in 1953. Larry served in the United States Army and Army Reserve for 30 years retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer. He worked at Goodyear Tire Company in Topeka Kansas for 42 years, retiring as a manager in September of 1995. He was a member of Capitol Post #1 of the American Legion and First Christian Church. He volunteered at Let’s Help, enjoyed fishing, traveling and spent time giving to others. Larry was a good cook.
He was married to “Trudy” on May, 25, 1992 in Las Vegas, NV.
He is survived by his daughters, Paula Kimball and husband Steve of Topeka, Teresa Hunter and husband Tony of Fair Play, South Carolina; niece, Lori Hauserman-Hammer and husband Tom of Huntsville, Alabama; grandchildren, Erin (Andrew) Wallentine, Emily Kimball, Jennifer (Josh) Stifter, Jessica (Michael) Hogenmiller; great-Grandchildren: Spencer & Warren Ivan Lee Wallentine, and Lillyanna Kimball; Maximus & Raphael Stifter; Emmitt, Coen and Maysa Jane Hogenmiller.
Larry was preceded in death by his wife “Trudy” Hauserman in 2023; siblings, Betty “Nadine” Bridges, Ada “LaVerne” Wallace, Robert “Bob” Hauserman, Thomas Hauserman and Melba “Hope” Hauserman; infant daughter, Penny Renae Hauserman in 1966 and by his parents, Clarence and Elpha
Cremation is planned. Inurnment will be later at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Topeka. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or to Midland Hospice. Parker-Price and Davidson Cremations and Funeral is assisting the family. ppdfuneral.com
