Larry Wayne Hines, 78, of Winchester, VA passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA.
Born on November 15, 1945 in Romney, WV, he was the son of the late James Edward Hines and Viola Grace Loy Hines.
Larry served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed fishing and hunting but above all loved his family.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, David Hines, Edna Davis, James Hines, George Hines, Steve Hines, Mary Kelles, Rose Tomlinson, and Dale Hines.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria (Everett) Hines, his children, Scott Hines (Sheila), Rebecca Hines, Julia Ramos (Tony), all of Romney, WV, grandchildren, Chase McCubbin, Austin Waldron, Alex Waldron, and Holly Ramos, and his siblings, Betty Gordon of Romney, WV, William Hines of Warrenton, VA, Donald Hines of San Diego, CA, and Grace Kesner of Romney, WV and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at McKee Funeral Home Chapel, Romney WV with Pastor Wendell Everett officiating. Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Romney, WV. Military rites will be accorded by the US Army. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, 6-8pm, at the funeral home.
All arrangements are being handled by McKee Funeral Home, Romney, WV.
