Larry Hooper Obituary
He was born March 21, 1937, in Aurora, IN, son of the late Walter Dale Hooper and Kathryn (Knippenberg) Hooper.
He worked as a Utility worker supervisor for Indiana & Michigan Power, retiring after 36 years of service.
Larry loved spending time with his family and friends. He was on a bowling team for over 40 years, enjoyed Nascar, camping at their camp site in Brookville and playing golf
Larry is survived by his Two Daughters, Debra (Randy) Taylor of Greendale, IN Kimberly Walters of Florence, KY; five grandchildren, Andrew (Kellee) Hooper, Alan York, Adam York, Robbie Walters, Abby (Bryan) Abbinante; three great-grandchildren, Keegan Hooper, Kole Morath, Kody Morath; Niece Sarah (Tim) Lazure of Greenville, NC.
He was preceded in death by Father, Walter Dale (Kathryn) Hooper; Mother, Kathryn M. Hooper; Wife of 55 yrs. Laura K Hooper; Brother, Danny (Chris) R. Hooper;
Friends will be received Wednesday, March 8, 2023, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, IN.
Services will be held at the Funeral Home at 2 PM.
Interment will follow in the Greendale Cemetery, Greendale, Indiana.
Contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Research or American Diabetes Foundation. If unable to attend services, please call the funeral home office at (812) 926-1450 and we will notify the family of your donation with a card.
