Larry L. Jackson, age 77, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024 at his home in Paulding, OH.
Larry was born on September 4, 1946 in Paulding, OH to the late Paul E. and Ruth M. (Winterhalter) Jackson. On May 30, 1967 he married Linda Thomas, who survives. Larry proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He worked as an electrician for 40 years at GM Powertrain in Defiance. He was a member of the Paulding County Fish and Game Club and a lifetime member of the Paulding V.F.W. Post 587. Larry loved hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He loved animals and birds.
Along with his loving wife, Larry is survived by his son, Todd Jackson, Paulding, OH; daughter, Amy (Samuel) Studebaker, Union, OH; grandchlidren: Dustin Jackson, Brandon Jackson, Sebastian Eifrid, Caleb Danielak, Griffin Danielak; two step granddaughters.
Larry was also preceded in death by his brothers: Ronnie, Richard, and Danny Jackson.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Jackson Township, OH with military rites accorded by the Paulding V.F.W. Post 587.
Memorial contributions may be made in Larry's memory to the Paulding County Dog Shelter.
