He received his high school and college in Phoenix, Arizona. He loved working with his hands, woodwork, carpentry and gardening.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Mr. Robert and Mrs. Doris Martin, Mr. Mack and Mrs. Sadie James, his uncles: William Jackson, Robert Lee Martin and Marvin White.
Larry leaves to cherish his memories, one brother, Haywood Jackson of Topeka, Kansas; one sister, Tiffany James-Granese of Topeka, Kansas; one brother-in-law, Courtney Bryan; uncles: Danny James of Delaware, John Bolton of Wichita, Kansas, Milton Martin of Wichita, Kansas, Anthony White of Miami, Florida, Jeffery James of New Jersey, Kenneth Martin of Topeka, Kansas; aunts: Madelyn James of Atlanta, Georgia, Eula Martin-Hoel of Leavenworth, Kansas, Dorisjean White of Wichita, Kansas, Clovice White of Dallas, Texas, Lisa Martin-Lawrence (sister-aunt) of Houston, Texas; and a host nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

You and I go back a bit we didn't always see eye to eye but you helped me back in the day and I thank you. If it wasn't for that I wouldn't of met your momma. Truly a friend for life she is. She's the best friend I've ever had. And Miss Mia the sweetest girl I mean the the best She loves me she has from the beginning. You really where a very lucky man to of been born in such a wonderful family. God Bless you man hope your happy in the afternoon life.
