Larry Gene Jankovic

On November 2, 2024, at 8:36 pm Larry Gene Jankovic left for heaven. He grew his wings, leaving a mark we will never forget. Larry was the father of Roberto, grandfather of Rob, Isaiah, Laylanie and Bella, father-in-law to Lourdes and friend to many. Most importantly he is our little Old Man. "Any man can be a father but it takes a real man to be a dad." He was the type of person to remember everyone's birthdays but couldn't remember his own, or where he would leave his tv control. Every year for his birthday he would see his cake and claim, "I'm not that old" but he couldn't recall his age. He wasn't shy to say he'd kick you in the a** if you got on his nerves. He was passionate about celebrating Thanksgiving and his favorite, Christmas. As our Old man would say he's not sleeping he's just resting his eyes. You are heavily missed old man. We love you for eternity.
Visitation Wednesday November 6 from 9:45 to 10:30 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church 8404 S. Cass Ave., Darien. Interment Clarendon Hills Cemetery.
