Larry Dean Johnson Jr

Larry Dean Johnson, Jr. of Suffolk VA passed away at his home surrounded by friends and family on September 8, 2023. He was 56 at the time of his passing having succumbed to his brief battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his parents Larry D Johnson, Sr. and Joan C Johnson of Suffolk VA.
He is survived by his siblings Kim Mason of Chuckatuck VA, and Wade Johnson of Apex NC, and their families.
Dean spent most of his career following in his grandfather's footsteps working in the lumber industry. However, his true passion was fishing for Sheepshead in the Outer Banks. Dean had many interests in life including fishing, boating, SCUBA diving, music, and researching history. He will be remembered for having a joke at hand or a tale to tell.
A very special thank you to the Respess, Wilkins and Davies families for their love and support.
His ashes will be scattered according to his wishes.
